Comments  (English):
On arrival unhelpfull staff claimed not to have my confirmed reservation. Only offered one room (Its a 49 storey hotel,.. only one room available? I dont think so !) at double the rate quoted on my reservation. Food Not great and overpriced (USD 55.00 for average buffet dinner and USD 40.00 for poor breakfast). Rooms beatifull but vastly overpriced (I was charged USD 225.00 per night after booking in advance at USD 120.00). Concierge unhelpful. Very few staff speak any western language. Finding English speaking staff was a problem. The building is beautifully fitted out but I will not be staying here next time. Maby other guests experienced the same problems. Other Guangzhou hotels offer betterfood and customer service at half the price. Sorry guys.
