The Vanilla Garden International Youth Hostel is located at Changping District of Beijing, it adjoins to the Beijing-Miyun Canal and closes to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs. The hostel was authorized by the Guangzhou office of Hostelling International in July 2006,and opened in August of the same year.
	Changping District is called “Back Garden” of Beijing, it’s surrounded by the Great Wall, there are many scenic spots in the region, the Ming Tombs, the Great Wall at Juyong Pass, the Nine-Dragon Amusement Park, China Aeronautical Museum, China Tank Museum, the Ming Tombs International Golf Club, Beijing Aerodone Club, and many natural scenic spots and forest reserves.
	The Vanilla Garden International Youth Hostel is situated at west of the Changping District, the periphery vegetation of the hostel is luxuriant, it’s holding a land area of 20,000 square meters, and own 1 orchard, 3 fish pond, 1 Tibetan mastiff and sled dog tame field, the restaurant have prepared various styles of Chinese food for the backpackers. The pseudo-classic style guest rooms quite has elegance and warmth, it’s providing various styles of rooms for the backpackers, each room has individual bathroom and air conditioning, drinking trough and TV are also included. The internet access computers, bar, barbecue area, reading room, theater, satellite TV, laundry room, self-service kitchen and dining room are provided for the backpackers in 24h. The wireless wide band network already covered the majority of the building. The hostel service desk provides currency exchange, photo printing, document scanning, travel consultation, national& international telephone call, bicycle rent, taxi rent, luggage checking and ticket management for backpackers.
